Our significant re-use operations process billions of used garment hangers. Returned garment hangers are cleaned, re-packed and re-distributed ready to be used again. By extending a garment’s hanger life beyond a singular use, Braiform’s re-use programs significantly curb consumption rates of raw materials and reduce overall green house gas emissions.
In addition, the comparative unit cost of a re-use vs. single use garment hanger is lower when compared over the program life.
Garment hangers unable to be re-used are ground down to their base resin, which is used again to make new product. Other items such as metal clips and hooks are also recycled.
All our store collection corrugated boxes are designed to be used more than once. We are also able to provide store return data that enables retailers to identify which stores are operating in the most environmentally responsible way.
